As a musician myself, I understand that having a finely tuned piano is important for every serious pianist. For best performance, pianos need to be tuned at least once a year, so the cost for piano tuning should be affordable. I have no interest in being the most expensive piano tuner.
I also believe that a piano tuning is detailed, artistic work that should not be contracted to the lowest bidder. There are some piano tuners hobbyists whose experience is limited due to tuning just a few pianos a month. Improper tuning technique can cause damage to the piano. In addition, quick or improper tuning makes the piano unstable, and it cannot hold fine tune for long.
I feel that my piano tuning fee is affordable yet a fair compensation for the quality of service I provide.
